7 Tips For A Healthier You

A well-balanced healthy body is a great gift that can help you become a happier, healthier and productive person. With a healthy body, you can not only look better and healthier, but you can also reduce the risks of certain diseases such as diabetes, heart disease, high cholesterol and high blood pressure. Many useful strategies can help you stay fit and healthy, but to do that you need to be patient and determined.

1. Do Exercise
Performing exercises plays an essential role in keeping your body fit and healthy. You can do a simple exercise like walking, jogging, or biking. No matter how quick you walk, jog or bike, these activities play an important part of healthy living since they will keep your muscles active and promote blood circulation. If you want your knees to be strong and free of pain and discomfort, frequent cycling and swimming are great solutions. Create a routine that works for you and fits into your daily activities. Start a daily routine for walking, jogging or cycling to suit your schedule (for example, you can run daily at 6:00 pm). After practicing for a period of time, you can increase the distance, speed and finally the length of your time.

2. Do Not Eat Snacks
Avoiding snacks is one of the most important requirements of a healthy lifestyle. Many people do not pay much attention to their snacking habits, but it doesn't mean you should avoid snacks altogether, just try to select snacks that are healthy. And if you exercise and eat healthy snacks, you'll probably still achieve good health results. Unfortunately, most snacks sold these days contain little, or even no, nutrients and are full of sodium and sugar. As a result, these types of snacks tend to makes you feel tired due to lack of energy. Therefore, you should avoid the following foods:
* Foods that are rich in sugar such as donuts, pastries, biscuits, pudding, cereals, canned fruit, dried fruit, and soda.
* High-fat foods such as processed meats, butter, hydrogenated oils (found in coconut oil and palm oil), fats, cheese and animal fats. (Note: Although cheeses are high in fat, they also contain lots of proteins that are beneficial to the body; less processed cheeses are your best option to maintain a healthy body)
* High cholesterol foods such as egg yolks, fried foods, and mayonnaise.
* Any food that contains High Fructose Corn Syrup (HFCS) and MSG.

3. Eat Nutritious Foods
It can be difficult to maintain a well balanced diet if you do not have the time to cook. It's much easier to buy nutritious food in certain restaurants and takeouts, if you select the right food and can afford it. Maintaining a healthy and balanced diet can increase your energy and your work productivity. As an added benefit, consuming nutrients and vitamins that your body needs can make you feel happier and stabilize your mood.Healthy foods include:
* Fresh fruits and vegetables: melons, bananas, apples, oranges, carrots, onions, broccoli, corn, etc. (Note: Fresh fruits and vegetables should not be canned.) You can mix vegetables with olive oil for better taste. If you make salad dressings, mix as many vegetables as possible.
* Organic meat in small portions such as: Fish, poultry, and beef are high in protein. Instead of frying, try baking meats with olive oil or lemon juice and herbs.
* Cereal: Whole wheat bread, oatmeal, and pasta
* Protein-rich foods such as: Tofu, soybeans, egg whites, nuts, cheese and dill.
* High fiber foods: cooked lentils, black beans, green beans, pears, raspberries and oat bran.

4. Do Not Quit Breakfast
Starting your day with a healthy nutritious breakfast can help you work more effectively, and even help you maintain a healthy body weight. One theory is that a healthy breakfast can make you feel full longer. Many people think that they can lose weight by skipping breakfast, but this is not an effective strategy. Studies show that people who skip breakfast tend to eat more at lunch and throughout the day. Another theory about the correlation between breakfast and weight control suggests that breakfast is part of a healthy lifestyle that includes healthy food choices, calorie balance, and to exercise regularly. According to data from successful US weight-loss advocates, about 80% of those who have lost at least 13 kg and keep the weight unchanged for at least one year regularly eat breakfast (follow a diet which is low in fat and calories). Therefore, if you want to keep fit, skipping breakfast is not a wise solution. Focus on selecting foods that tasty and healthy.

5. Drink A Lot Of Water
The average adult human body is 50-65% water, so its important to drink plenty of water throughout the day. When you sweat, your body will lose a lot of water, so make an effort to drink more water to compensate. Forming a routine to drink water is one of the easiest and simplest things you can do to help yourself.The health benefits of drinking enough water are long and impressive. Firstly, water helps you lose weight because it does not contain calories and it also helps you burn calories. For women, drinking plenty of water and staying hydrated is a good beauty tips. Water absorbed into the skin cells will enhance the elasticity and increase the skin moisture. In the human brain, the water accounts for about 80%, so it is essential to drink enough amount of water. Water shortages can affect our ability to focus and remember. Muscle tissue contains up to 75% water, so you need to drink plenty of water if you want your muscles toned.

6. Sleep Enough
Not only does getting enough sleep makes you feel more comfortable, it can also have positive effects to your heart, weight, and memory. In fact, sleep well will help reduce risk of disease.

Our immune system is highly dependent on sleep, as it plays a role in fighting and protecting the body and other organs even when we are resting and sleeping. Long-term sleep deprivation means that the activities of the immune system will become increasingly stagnant and weak, creating conditions for harmful microorganisms to enter the body, putting you in a high risk of serious illnesses and health problems.

7. Make Time For Yourself
If your morning you are stressed and hurried, change or rearrange your schedule. It's easier said then but done, you can make small positive changes to your morning schedule and activities that can have big positive results. Take control of your morning by creating a quick list of things to do before going out to work or school. Figure out how long you need to do each task and change the time you wake up each morning. According to statistics, an ideal morning with the things you need to do will take more than 2 hours. For example, if you start to work at 8 o'clock, get up the latest at 5:30. Otherwise, you will always be stressed, hurried, and that's a bad way to start your day.
