Life, Health and Wellness Coaching is different from therapeutic counseling disciplines. Therapy brings understanding and awareness of the past to a client; coaching provides the support and strategy to make changes based on the awareness, attitudes and desire of a client. Coaching is more action plan based and movement oriented discipline then therapy.

The coach will not do the work for you, but is there to help you get to the next level. A key function of coach is to observe, listen, and ask questions to understand their client's situation and desire. The coach can be a confidant, a sounding board for you talk to about the personal and professional things that are going on in your life. Your coach should be understanding and non-judgmental while providing realistic, positive feedback and counsel. Your coach can help you identify and work in areas that need improvement. Your coach is great source of creative ideas that you can brainstorm with, try out new ideas, and feel that it's safe to experiment without being judged or criticized. Coaching can be performed with an individual, groups, in person, over the phone, online, or any in combination.

You will work closely with your coach to setup appropriate, realistic goals, and methods of assessing progress in relation to the goals. Your coach will encourage you to commit to action and to continuously develop and sustain all major life areas. Your coach can help you gain clarity and assist you in turning your plans into reality.
